The new documentary American Masters: Jimi Hendrix – Hear My Train A Comin’ will premiere on PBS on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and The Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy has an exclusive clip below.
In addition, PBS has an exclusive clip with Janie Hendrix, who shares memories of her older brother in this outtake interview from the documentary.
The two-hour film includes previously unseen concert footage and home videos. An expanded home video edition also will be released on Nov. 5 on Blu-ray/DVD, as well as a CD/vinyl set of Jimi Hendrix Experience: Miami Pop Festival.
