Hobnox, an online entertainment and content publishing platform with offices in Boston, Berlin and London, today announced a partnership with Experience Hendrix. The family-owned company formed by the late James "Al" Hendrix, father of the legendary guitarist, is entrusted with preserving and protecting the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. The partnership provides Hobnox's recently launched online music channel, Mi145, with the exclusive broadcast rights to "American Landing: Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey," an in-depth look at Jimi's historic American debut. The film features a wealth of previously unreleased Hendrix footage, as well as never before seen exclusive interviews with band members Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding, manager Chas Chandler and Jimi Hendrix himself.

"American Landing" chronicles Jimi's journey from his initial success in Europe to his triumphant return to the U.S., culminating with his incendiary performance at the Monterey Pop Festival. The exclusive broadcast of the documentary premieres this October on Channel Mi145 in the Hobnox HYPERSHOW(SM) format with commentary provided by Henry Rollins.

• A HYPERSHOW presentation on Mi145 is online video the way it is meant to be viewed -- full-screened, high quality programming. An immersive, interactive experience, the HYPERSHOW features a small icon pulsing to signify additional, relevant content. Clicking on the icon pauses the video to let viewers dig into background information, photos, music, interviews and performances.

• Through the Experience Hendrix and Hobnox partnership, the "American Landing" HYPERSHOW unveils previously unreleased footage, exclusive to Mi145. Viewers will be able to explore additional, previously unreleased video, audio, graphics and text in order to gain a deeper understanding of Hendrix's influences and his creative process. Additionally, Experience Hendrix and Hobnox are discussing the creation of future HYPERSHOW versions of "American Landing" on Mi145, featuring a bevy of additional content, based on fan feedback and viewer suggestions.
