The Experience appear at The Bushnell Memorial Hall, accompanied by The Bowl and Soft Machine. The March 23, 1968 edition of The Hartford Courant indicates that “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Fire,” “I Don’t Live Today,” and “Little Wing” are performed on this evening. I must call her soon before she gets to Switzerland. She’s the only thing I have to hold on to that’s real. Better call her soon. Beautiful room I have. Bought more film, tape, ect… Just came back from gig. Terrible – the people thought we were great. Stage manager dropped the power right into the middle of our act. So I am depressed. Gonna get completed smashed… Let’s see … Where’s that bottle – hmmmm …”
