A new album of previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix recordings is set for release on March 4 – and you can listen to the track “Earth Blues” exclusively. All 12 tracks on the album, titled People, Hell and Angels were recorded between 1968 and 1970 and were meant for First Days Of The New Rising Sun, the follow up to Electric Ladyland that Hendrix was working on when he passed away in 1970.

In this exclusive USA TODAY video, hear Kramer wax lyrical about Jimi Hendrix blasting through Hear My Train A Comin’, one of 12 songs featured on People, Hell and Angels, a new album of previously unreleased music out March 5.”

“Somewhere” will be available as a digital single, a limited edition vinyl single (available at independent record stores) and a CD single (available at Walmart). The b-side of the vinyl single is a previously unreleased studio recording of “Power of Soul” by Band of Gypsys, mixed by Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Kramer in August 1970.
